Weber grills do not come cheap – literally and figuratively. They are quite heavy on the price tag. They are also pretty valuable in terms of their functions and the roles they play around your kitchen. It is important, therefore, that you learn how to care for your grill. Yes, they are made to last. But if you will so carelessly use them, even their worldwide image for quality cannot bail you out.

Tip #1: Use your Weber grill properly. If you use your grill the right way, there is a very small chance that you will get your unit damaged before you enjoy many tasty grilled treats with it. Tip #2: Schedule cleaning depending on how often you use your grill. The amount of use can attest to how much grease or food residue is retained. You must check your grills from time to time and make sure that all parts are working properly. If you find something wrong, like change in the flame color, examine the parts and see where the problem is rooted. For the most part, major clean-ups, where you dissect your Weber grill down to the last screw should be done at least once a year. Now that the juicer you bought from Amazon has arrived and you finished reading the user’s manual and set the machine up on your kitchen counter, what is it that’s still missing?

Is it a juicing recipe book? If so then one of the better rated recipe books you may consider looking through is “Ultimate Juicing: Delicious Recipes for Over 125 of the Best Fruit & Vegetable Juice Combinations,” by Donna Pliner Rodnitzky.

If you’re an experienced juicer, then much of the information in this book is probably already familiar to you such as basic information about the benefits of juicing and the nutritional information for each fruit or vegetable used in the recipes. You may find that many of the recipes are common, but some may be unique to you making the purchase of the book worthwhile anyway.

This book contains recipes that sound fun to make and drink. The author encourages you to experiment. Purist may be put off by some recipes that include sugar and alcohol. But the author wants homemade juices to taste good too, not always to be about being healthy.

If you don’t want to know about the basics of juicing and you only want recipes then this book isn’t quite for you. However, if you don’t mind the extra information and want good recipe combinations, then the “Ultimate Juicing: Delicious Recipes for Over 125 of the Best Fruit & Vegetable Juice Combinations” is just what you need to go along with that new juicer you bought recently.

I’ve got a Smokey Joe. One day, I managed to trash the grate. It is a long story, but suffice to say, I do not recommend dropping a grate on the ground repeatedly as a cleaning method. Eventually the grate breaks. That was my fault, not Weber’s.

So, I needed a new grate. I bought this one. As far as I could tell, it is a relacememt, through and through. It fit, it held up under the heat. It grilled. Not too complicated.

You’ve got the obvious choice: do you buy a new grill, or just the replacement? I can’t guide you there. That depends on the age of your grill. However, if you’ve a sturdy grill, and in a misguided cleaning effort you did a bit of damage, go for the replacement.

I fully recommend Weber’s Replacement Charcoal Grates.

I purchased this to replace the grill that came with my travel trailer. I recieved it opened the box and my 5 year old daughter and I assembled it in about 20 minutes. Most of the assembly we did without the aid of the instructions which are more than easy to follow (I checked after to make sure we got it right).

The quick connect fitting on my trailer wasn’t compatible with the extend a hose kit I bought with the grill so I simply “parted out” the old grill and now it works wonderfully as I intended.

As for it use, we took it from the box to the trailer and left for a two week trip to the Canadian Maitimes. The grill fed us each night with absolutely no problems. It has ample heat, it’s easy to clean, easy to set up and the wind dosent blow out the burner ever (this was the reason for replacing the old grill).

I give this grill 5 stars and I personally feel that it earned each and every one! For the price you can’t go wrong! The biggest surprise I had was that I didn’t think it would be as large as it is. I had previously been looking into the Coleman Road Trip grills and assumed it would be the same size. Much larger. It didn’t fit in the storage compartment I had planned but I had plenty of room for it anyhow!

Great Grill, I would buy another and would reccommend it to a friend. In fact I will brag it up on the RV message board I belong to.

Choosing a laminator is no simple task, but it becomes even more challenging when you’re trying to select the right laminator from General Binding Corporation. That’s because GBC makes some of the best devices you can buy thanks to their user-friendly, time-saving features. Here are the ones you should check out depending on your anticipated level of usage: occasional, moderate, and frequent.

• Occasional use. Devices made for occasional use are great for the everyday lamination of name badges, crafts, and other small projects. Typically, these machines use pouches that are between 3 and 7 mil thick. One of the best ones for creating name badges is the HeatSeal H110. It has a 4.5″ feed opening and a cold setting so you’ll be able to laminate photographs. GBC has several new products in this category including the terrific HeatSeal H320 QuickStart. The H320 has a unique halogen heating system that enables it to be ready for use in just one minute. It has a wide 12.5″ feed opening so you’ll be able to work with items such as menus and signs. This machine won’t jam up on you so you’ll be able to laminate your documents and save some time. Another great model in this category is the HeatSeal H212. This device is compatible with 3 and 5 mil pouches and it can laminate items as large as 8.5″ x 14″ (legal size). It has a cold setting so you’ll be able to laminate thermally sensitive items such as ink-jet printouts and color copies. Controlling the temperature is easy because it’s done via a rotary dial. The H212 will shut off automatically when you’re doing using it, preventing the motor from overheating.

• Frequent use. Finally, we have the laminators for frequent use. These machines are very fast, they can work with 10 mil pouches, and some of them can even handle mounting boards which is very handy if you’re preparing materials for a presentation. One machine that can handle mounting boards is the HeatSeal H600pro, which is one of GBC’s best laminators. This machine was designed for heavy use and thanks to its four rollers, everything you laminate will look fantastic. Plus, it can laminate up to an item that’s 25″ long in 60 seconds. Another great choice in this category is the HeatSeal H435. It has an LED timer that counts down the 5-minute warm-up time and it can accepts documents that are up to 12.5″ wide. It offers jam-free operation and it has four rollers to reduce the likelihood of your item becoming marred by heat marks, bubbles, and wrinkles.

As you can see, GBC has great laminators that are ideal for occasional, moderate, and frequent use. Just select the one that’s right for you and you’ll be on your way to having beautifully laminated documents.

We all know that the big expenses of life, such as mortgages and cars, are often necessities that we simply can’t cut down on, but what about those little things we auto-buy every week or every day? Can we cut down on those?

In a word, yes, we can, and all it takes is a little alteration in the way you think…

For many of us, buying branded goods in the supermarket is simply habit but it’s a habit that is costing us far more than we need to be paying. For example, toilet paper is literally flushed down the toilet – along with the money it cost you to buy a branded pack – so why not buy a supermarket’s own brand instead?

For example, at Tesco right now, Andrex 4 roll, plain white, bog standard – pun intended – loo paper is £2.25 but Tesco’s value loo roll 4 pack is 43p!

The same goes for dozens of items that we persistently keep using because we daren’t try the alternatives. Just try it for one week; instead of buying your usual brands, make a point of getting generic or own brands. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how much you save and how little difference you notice.

If you want to con your family to do your own little market research on the subject, put the store’s own branded goods into the branded container and see if anyone notices it’s any different. For instance, buy the supermarket’s own cola and put it in a Coca Cola bottle or put store’s own cornflakes in a Kellogg’s box. I’ve done it and nobody noticed!

I bought this a couple of months ago and I love it! It is so convenient and (literally) snaps on. It gives you the feel of a more expensive grill without the expense.
It’s nice to not have to worry about the dog getting at the sauce or to have to precariously balance the utensils on the handle (or keep everything on a table across the patio).
The only downside is that it’s not as easy to move as it’s not welded in but with a little experimenting I figured out how to move it no problem.
I recommend this product whole heartedly.
